Overview: New Users & Changes to Existing Users

How to invite a new team member user, delete an existing user or change their access level

Login to the EvalExpert Web Dashboard

To use the web dashboard; click here or go to to www.evalexpert.com, then select login.

Go to Eval Settings page

  1. Click your name in the bottom left

  2. Choose 'Eval Settings'

  3. Choose 'Users List'


Users List

This page displays a list of all users in your account along with their current access level. From here you can:


Inviting a New User

To add a new user to your EvalExpert account:

  1. Click 'Invite'

  2. Enter the new users' email address

    • If the new user is a manager, click 'Manager'

  3. Click 'Invite'

  4. An invitation to join EvalExpert is sent to the new user

    • Once the user has completed their registration steps, they will be automatically assigned to your dealership account and appear in the 'Users List'.


Modify an Existing Users Access

To change an existing users access level, such as upgrade to Manager and / or give access to pricing:

  1. Find the user in the Users List

  2. Click the yellow 'Edit' icon

  3. Under the 'User Privileges' section, adjust the user's access as needed by toggling the 'Manager and / or 'Pricing' radio buttons

    • Manager: Can see all evaluations, from all users in their account

    • Allow Pricing: Can add/edit the final price, and has access to the Pricing Tab

    • If upgrading a users access level to 'Manager', you will also need to select the 'Pricing' option so that user can see and action evaluation pricing.

Access changes are immediate and do not require the user to log out.


Transferring a User Between Accounts

For group accounts, manager users in the top level group account can transfer another user between sub accounts:

  1. Find the user in the Users List

  2. Click the yellow 'Edit' icon

  3. Under the 'User Dealership' section, select the account you want to transfer the use to

  4. Click 'Transfer'


Deleting a User

Deleting a user account will immediately revoke access to EvalExpert, you will need to select which user to transfer the deleted users evaluations to. To remove a users access:

  1. Find the user in the Users List

  2. Click the red 'X' icon

  3. From the dropdown list, select a user to transfer their evaluations to

  4. Click 'Delete'
